Our First Full Week

As we wrap up our first full week, we are getting into our new 3rd Grade routines. This week consisted of a few more "get to know you" activities, some goal setting, understanding characters, rounding, and some Olympic fun. Needless to say, we've stayed busy! :)

One of our favorite memories from the week was sharing our Family Message Journals for the first time. Family Message Journals are special to us! It was such a rewarding experience to watch the students light up as they read their letters to their peers. We appreciate you taking the time to do your part in making these successful. They will surely be something to treasure.

We had our first indoor recess this week! After attempting to go outside, the rain kept us in...but we still had lots of fun!

The Book Nook has been full of readers this week! This week we focused on characters and how they "drive a story". Our story, A Fine, Fine School was quite the hit!

These kiddos love some math! They were so excited to practice their rounding skills by writing on their desks! We have been working on rounding to the nearest ten and hundred.
